Zuk smartphone Z1 will get Android 7.0 in spite of the Snapdragon 801 SoC
One of the main problems of Android OS is that with new versions they are not only long enough to spread in the market, but come not at all smart phones with the previous version of the system.
However, most regular users really don’t care what OS version is used, but the problem really is.
Lenovo not really spoil their customers with updates even for flagship smartphones. But a separate brand Zuk acts differently. Reportedly, the Android OS 7.0 get models such as the Zuk Z1 and Z2 Pro. And if the latter is a relatively fresh machine, the Z1 entered the market more than a year ago with Android OS 5.1.1. Few of the manufacturers to update their smartphones twice when talking about the transitions between the major versions of Android.
The update worth the wait from January 28 along with the shell ZUI 2.5. By the way, Zuk Z1, apparently, will be the first (and maybe only) smartphone is equipped with a single-chip system Snapdragon 801, which officially gets Android 7.0, because Qualcomm didn’t want to release drivers for the SoC Snapdragon 800 and 801.
