YouTube adds support for HDR for smartphones Google Pixel, the Samsung Galaxy S8, Note8, LG V30 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium

The YouTube app for mobile devices that run the Android operating system, received the update after install on some smartphones introduced support for extended dynamic range HDR.

Now you will be able to view the videos taken in HDR mode with improved color reproduction, the following smartphones: Google Pixel and Pixel XL, Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ and Note8, LG V30 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium.

The update is gradually spreading in various regions of the world. That is, even if you own one of these smartphones, then this functionality may not be available.
