Wifi module Murata Type ABZ LoRaWAN for the Internet of things supports network SigFox and LoRa

Murata Manufacturing announced that the result of cooperation with companies STMicroelectronics and SigFox was the porting of the stack SigFox, which is now available in the wireless module Murata Type ABZ LoRaWAN for the Internet of things along with a stack of LoRa.

The Foundation module serves as the microcontroller of the STM32 family STMicroelectronics and RF Semtech SX1276 chip, operating in the range 806-930 MHz. Miniature module provides compatibility with the two networks LPWAN IoT on a single hardware platform. This approach enables users to choose a more suitable network technology based on existing conditions, because each of them has certain advantages. Network SigFox and LoRa is designed to connect smart meters, smart buildings as well as for accounting and other tasks the IoT.

According to Murata, she is the first of the major suppliers offers a module LPWAN that support LoRa and SigFox.
