WhatsApp discontinues support for older versions of the mobile OS
Since the release of the first version of the Android OS, it’s been eight years. The first version of iOS came out in 2007. Each of these operating system gets a new version once a year, so from the moment of their appearance has changed for many generations. There is nothing surprising in the fact that AT does not support operating systems older than a certain version.
So the developers of the popular WhatsApp messenger announced that they will cease to support older versions of the mobile OS. The list includes Android 2.2, Windows Phone 7 and iOS 6. Also noted that the program will not work on iPhone 3GS. But BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40 and Symbian S60 remain in the list of supported OS, but only until June 30, 2017.
