Vernee Apollo 2 may be the first smartphone with the SoC Helio X30

In the spring of this year operating Director of the company MediaTek Ms. Sangsoo (Zhu Shangzu) announced that the first smartphones, which will be applied system-on-chip Vernee Apollo 2 appears on the market only in early 2017.

As it became known recently, SoC Helio X30 will surpass Helio X20 53% for energy efficiency and 43% in performance. PowerVR 7XT is going to work 2.4 times faster than the GPU Mali-T880, as 58% more energy efficient.

At the conference it was announced that the long-suffering smartphone Vernee Apollo, which was to be held in the spring, will receive Helio X25, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of flash memory, and a display with 2K resolution and a camera with a 21-megapixel image sensor Sony IMX230. According to rumors, Vernee Apollo, which goes on sale in October will get the accessory that allows you to record panoramic videos.

The conference also was announced the smartphone Vernee Apollo 2, which currently is positioned as the first device with the aforementioned SoC Helio X30. The output of this smartphone is expected in March next year.
