Umidigi Crystal at the price of $150 should be the most affordable edge-to-edge smartphone
A month ago it became known that the company is preparing to release Umidigi frameless smartphone, which is codenamed Umidigi C Note.
Now we have the characteristics of a device called Umidigi Crystal. To start with what we today mean by the phrase «edge-to-edge smartphone». Typically, this device still has quite a noticeable frame on the sides of the display and the same frame over it. In the lower part of the display is a frame common to other smartphones width. But because of the significant reduction of the upper frame smartphones called edge-to-edge, though still don’t have any device that is completely devoid of the framework around the display.
Umidigi Crystal received a display diagonal of 5.5 inches resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash memory, which can be supplemented with memory cards microSD. As a single-chip system MediaTek MT6737T acts, the main camera has a 13-megapixel image sensor, the front camera is megapixel. The device is running Android 7.0 Nougat.
Umidigi Crystal will go on sale in may for about $150. The manufacturer is also preparing a more expensive version Umidigi Crystal Pro with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of flash memory and SoC MT6750.
