Tsinghua Unigroup will get another 22 billion dollars to be among the largest manufacturers of semiconductor products
Chinese state-owned-private company Tsinghua Unigroup, a few years ago declared intention to 2020 to enter the three largest manufacturers of semiconductor products, agreed to attract large investments.
The company announced the signing of agreements with two investors totaling about $ 22 billion.
Two-thirds of this amount in the period up to 2020 will provide the state-supported China development Bank. The remaining funds will come from the national Fund, formed in 2014 with the aim to contribute to the development of the semiconductor industry.
In January it became known that Tsinghua Unigroup will invest $ 30 billion in the construction of a plant to produce memory chips.
