Toshiba showed the SSD that uses a 64-layer flash memory BiCS

The Dell EMC World event in 2017, opened yesterday in Las Vegas, Toshiba has chosen to demonstrate solid-state drive, which uses a 64-layer flash memory BiCS. Recall, Toshiba introduced a 64-layer chip flash memory 3D NAND BiCS 64 GB in February.

Drive XG series features the interface supports PCIe and NVMe Protocol. No other information about the source does not.

IC BiCS used in the drive technology bulk packaging of the third generation. According to the manufacturer, they are well suited for the SSD combining high density, reliability and economic efficiency. Now Toshiba puts the use of this memory all SSD in its range.
