This year the semiconductor market will grow by 19.7%, and in 2019 — will fall by 1%

Analysts Gartner say that the semiconductor market by the end of this year will reach 411,1 billion, which would correspond to growth of 19.7%. This will be the most significant growth of the industry from 2010, when revenue grew by 31.8%.

More than half of earnings (57%) will result from the sale of memory chips, due to the rising prices and shortage of the product. But will grow and sales of other semiconductor solutions, including non-optical, optical, analog and discrete sensors.

Interestingly, next year’s semiconductor market, according to Gartner estimates, will grow by only 4%, and in 2019 and it will be recorded a decline of 1%.
