Thin laptops Asus ZenBook UX430 and UX530 equipped with discrete graphics cards

The range of laptops Asus has added two new models is the ZenBook UX430 and UX530. Laptops have remarkable displays with narrow side frames (7.18 mm from ZenBook UX430), light weight and slim hulls – despite the fact that both configurations present a discrete graphics card.

ZenBook UX430 made in the «13-inch body», but is equipped with IPS screen diagonal of 14 inch (Full HD resolution). Laptop available Intel Core i3-7100U (2.4 GHz), Core i5-7200U (2,5-3,1 GHz) and Core i7-7500U (2,7-3,5 GHz). The maximum amount of RAM – 16 GB SSD – 128, 256 or 512 GB (all M. 2 SATA). Discrete graphics card – is a common 940MX Nvidia GeForce with 2GB of its own memory.

The laptop also got the adapters Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.1, stereo speakers, one USB 3.1 Type-A, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 Type-C, video output Micro HDMI, trichiaceae battery with a capacity of 50 W·h. Interestingly, the backlit keyboard and web camera with HD video recording added to the options, not standard equipment.

Dimensions and weight ZenBook UX430 — 324 x 225 x 15.9 mm and 1.25 kg.

Asus ZenBook UX530 isn’t much different. Of course, due to the screen diagonal of 15.6 inches (same IPS, and also Full HD) it is more (360 x 246 x 16.9 mm) and heavier (1.63 kg), but the processors are the same, and no changes on the part of the memory. But the 3D map GeForce 940MX there is an alternative to the model view GeForce GTX 950 with the same amount of memory and configuration of interface connectors is a single USB 3.1 Type-A.

Sales of new products in Europe start in the second quarter, the cost has not yet been announced.
