The users of WhatsApp became available two-factor authentication

In November last year, the developers of WhatsApp messenger began testing the functions of two factor authentication, which this week became available to all users.

Two-factor authentication appeared in the WhatsApp application for smartphones that are running Android, iOS and Windows Phone. To activate it, you need to set the appropriate value in the application settings.

After activating it, users will need to enter six-digit password every time you log into your account from a new device. It is also necessary to specify the exact email address to which the link will be sent to turn off two-factor authentication in case you forget your password.

That you do not forget the password, WhatsApp will periodically ask you to repeat it.
