The semiconductor market is again breaking records
Analysts of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) has estimated that by the end of the previous quarter global sales of semiconductor products totaled 97.9 billion dollars, an increase of 23.7% in annual terms.
Speaking generally about the first half of this year, sales grew 20.8% compared to the first half of 2016.
Analysts say the second quarter was a record for the industry. In addition, record figures were recorded in June, when the overall market grew by the same 23.7% in annual terms, up to 32.6 billion dollars.
If we consider individual regions, will be released in June in North and South America increased by 33.4% yoy in China — by 25.5%, Europe 18.3%, and in Japan by 18%.
Analysts believe that currently existing conditions will condition the further growth of this industry.
