The robot Handle production Boston Dynamics have borrowed the principle of moving gyrometers

In the Internet appeared the video, which the company Boston Dynamics, dealing with different kinds of robots, including humanoid, showed a completely new development.

The robot Handle has a pair of wheels, and when moving it uses the same principle as riding gyrometer. The robot alone moves the center of gravity and balance on two wheels, doing it with surprising ease.

Representatives of Boston Dynamics said that this movie was intended for presentation. Best Handle is moved on a flat surface, although it can move in a normal land covered with grass. The robot can overcome small obstacles, effectively jumping over them, prepared in advance.

The robot can carry heavy objects while maintaining balance. Boston Dynamics claim that Handle costs in the production of cheaper humanoid Atlas, but it has greater mobility and flexibility when in use.
