The results of testing CPU AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X in the test Geekbench

When AMD introduced processors Ryzen Threadripper, she did not disclose their parameters and names. Before the announcement, the Network got the information about the characteristics of the data to the CPU and their names, but she was partly wrong.

After the announcement one source said the names and settings, but according to new data, there was also a mistake. At least in Geekbench database appeared CPU, which was not specified in that list.

The model is called Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and it works, apparently, on a base frequency of 3.4 GHz, with 16 cores. Whether it’s the older model or will still be Ryzen Threadripper 1955X, is unclear.

The CPU scored 4167 points in single-threaded mode and 24 539 points in multi-threaded. For comparison, the 16-core Intel Xeon E5-V4 2697A gaining 3651 30 and 450 points in the respective modes.

We will remind, according to the latest rumors, the sale of processors Ryzen Threadripper can begin on July 27.
