The rate of growth of the Czech Republic unexpectedly accelerated in October

Consumer price inflation of the Czech Republic unexpectedly accelerated in October, albeit marginally, as evidenced by data from the Statistical office of the Czech Republic, published on Thursday.
Inflation rose from 2.7% in September to 2.9% in October. Meanwhile, economists had expected the index to remain stable at 2.7%. Prices for goods overall increased by 2.3% and services — by 3.2% in October.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices in October rose 0.5%, faster than the expected growth by 0.3%.
