The pFail function allows SSD SMART HRS-M2 not lose data when power off

Company SMART High Reliability Solutions (HRS SMART), which produces solid state drives for military, aerospace and industrial electronics, has introduced the model HRS-M2. SSDs SMART HRS-M2 size 2.5 inch equipped with interface SATA 6 GB/s, uses flash memory type MLC NAND. Drives are produced in volume to 1.92 TB. In the description of new product notes the function pFail to prevent data loss when sudden power off.

Sequential read HRS-M2 shows a data transfer speed of up to 525 MB/s, sequential write — 500 MB/s Performance on the operations random access reaches 70 000 IOPS and 50,000 IOPS read and write respectively.

As with its predecessor model HRS-M1, the new SSD has a protected execution. It meets the requirements of MIL-STD-810, firmly withstand the vibration and shock and operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C, and at altitudes up to 24 000 m. Provides protection of information by encryption, and the rapid destruction of the data. Price the manufacturer does not name.
