The owner of the ARM buys Boston Dynamics

Today, the company SoftBank last year for $ 32 billion, bought the company ARM, announced the existence of an agreement on the purchase of Boston Dynamics.

According to SoftBank, the sale corresponds to the «strategy of investing in revolutionary technology and the idea of accelerating a new wave of intelligent robots». The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

It is known that in the framework of the agreement with Alphabet company SoftBank will also acquire the Japanese company Schaft, which is developing bipedal robots. This company was established in 2012 at the University of Tokyo.
