The lineup of Intel Xeon Phi coprocessors x200 joined model 7220A Xeon Phi, Xeon Phi, and Xeon Phi 7220P 7240P

Intel has added a new line of Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor x200 three models: Xeon Phi 7220A, 7220P and 7240P. We will remind, the basis for the Xeon Phi x200 is a 14-nanometer chip with the cores 72 and the amount of cache second level up to 36 MB. It is compatible at the level of codes with x86-compatible server processors from Intel and supports the instruction set Advanced Vector Extensions 512. The first model x200 was released last year. They represent a processor as a standalone product. New models are made in the form of expansion cards PCIe.

New models have 68 cores and can execute up to 272 flows. The amount of cache memory L2 is 34 MB. The value of TDP is 300W. Coprocessors 7220A and 7220P operate at a frequency of 1.2 GHz. The first model is active cooling, the second — passive. Model 7240P is also has passive cooling, but it works at a frequency of 1.3 GHz.

Model 7220A 7220P and stand for $2214, and 7240P — $3324.
