The Japanese offered to chip in for medals for the Tokyo Olympic games
On the official website of the Olympic games 2020 to be held in Tokyo, it was reported, in which the organizing Committee encourages residents and visitors to Japan to take outdated or unneeded electronics.
The metals that are present in the technique will be used for the production of medals and medal at the next Olympic games. The Committee expects to receive from old electronics around eight tonnes of essential metals (40 kg of gold, 4920 kg 2944 silver and bronze). After appropriate treatment they will turn into the two tons, of which 5,000 will be made medals for the participants of the Olympic and Paralympic games.
Partners this initiative was assigned to NTT docomo and Japan Environmental Sanitation Center (JESC). Since April of this year plans to install collection points equipment 2,400 stores NTT docomo.
