The initiative Nvidia Max-Q the market will be gaming laptops 18 mm thick with the GeForce GTX 1080
During the exhibition Computex 2017, Nvidia announced the initiative Q-Max, in which the market will be slim gaming laptops of the new generation.
They will not be able to compete for first place in the thickness with the decisions of Apple, but compared to the previous gaming laptops will be made a real leap in the right direction.
Nvidia said that the new generation of gaming laptops will be three times thinner and three times more productive. More specifically, we are promised a gaming solution 18 mm thick weighing about 2.2 kg, which will feature a mobile version of the GeForce GTX 1080.
Also announced were the WhisperMode mode, which allows the laptop to remain silent even during intense gaming sessions. To do this, it will automatically adjust the graphics settings so as not to overheat.
At the press conference was shown a demo version of a racing simulator Project Cars 2, which worked for one of the new laptops 60% faster than the latest gaming console PlayStation 4 Pro.
The first laptops released in the framework of the Nvidia Max-Q, will appear on the market on June 27 of this year. In the foreseeable future, presenting their solutions Acer, Aftershock, Alienware, ASUS, Clevo, Dream Machine, ECT, Gigabyte, ZOTAC, HP, LDLC, Lenovo, Machenike, Maingear, Mechrevo, MSI, Multicom, Origin PC, PC Specialist, ZOTAC, Scan, Terrans Force, Tronic’5 and XoticPC. They will be equipped with GeForce GTX 1060, 1070 and 1080.
