The function of Shared Experiences in Windows 10 will allow to associate the same app for different platforms

Project Rome Project Microsoft announced last year. The idea is to give developers the ability to link their apps to different platforms by Remote Systems API.

For example, a video player or audio can be run on a PC and then from your smartphone, there running the same app, control playback, volume and so on. However, the application must be created in the platform Universal Windows Platform.

About the project somehow quickly forgotten, then recalled in the fall, and then forgot again. And so Microsoft thought of it. Now the feature has received the name of Shared Experiences and should be able to debut with the update Creators Update. In addition, the feature will finally become part of Windows 10, it has already got the Android SDK, so the world’s most popular mobile OS will also become part of a single system.
