The flagship AMD processor Ryzen Threadripper 1950X managed to overclock up to 5.2 GHz frequency

Today AMD once again talked about the processors Ryzen Threadripper by sharing new information. Recall, the flagship of the new family is a CPU Ryzen Threadripper 1950X, which is 16 cores with frequencies up to 4 GHz.

At the event, AMD decided to show what they are capable of CPU overclocking. In the end, using liquid nitrogen, overclockers were able to achieve stable operation of all 16 cores at the frequency 5187 MHz.

This processor was able to gain 4122 score in the test Cinebench R15.
