The first self-driving race cars in Formula E ended with a crash

The first race of unmanned vehicles Formula E, organized in Buenos Aires, ended not as expected. One of their two cars Roborace DevBot crashed trying to pass too aggressively sharp turn.

The incident confirmed a huge advantage of these events — the pilot in the accident was hurt, for the simple reason that it was not in the cab. At the same time, it is obvious that the technology of driverless driving is not trouble-free able to drive a race car. At least not yet.
