The first Samsung smartphone with curved display may come out edition of just 100 thousand units in Korea
Recently the head of mobile units Samsung Koh Dong-Jin (Koh Dong-jin) announced that the company will release the first Galaxy Note smartphone with a curved display in 2018.
The smartphone, which is the informal name of Samsung Galaxy X, has passed certification organization Wi-Fi Alliance (WFA) was spotted in the database of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), and also received the certificate of national Agency Korean National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) and the model number SM-G888N0.
According to new data, the novelty will be released in 2018 on the territory of South Korea in a limited edition of 100 thousand smartphones. Perhaps the appearance of the device on the world market will be in 2019.
Forbes argues that the presentation of the smartphone will take place in early January 2018 at the Consumer Electronics Show. But it is unlikely that new products will be released during the Mobile World Congress in February, since then Samsung will show Galaxy S9. May be, Samsung Galaxy X will be presented at IFA 2018 along with the Galaxy Note9.
