The first launch of the carrier rocket Space Launch System was postponed for 2019

In the summer of last year, the National aeronautic and space USA (NASA) successfully tested the first stage of the carrier rocket Space Launch System (SLS).

According to the original plan, the commissioning of the SLS was to be held in 2018, the rocket will be the lifting of the existing. In February of this year reported that the first demonstration launch of the SLS may be postponed until 2021. In this case it will be manned.



But this week it was announced that a demonstration launch of SLS is planned for 2019. The flight will be done with the space ship Orion. On the subject of whether aboard to be the crew, the final decision is still pending.


The reason for the postponement of the launch is exclusively financial.
