The first car Sony head unit with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be released in November for $500
Sony has announced its first head unit for car Sony XAV-AX100, which will support technology Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that allows you to play content from your smartphone via a multimedia system of the car.
The display size of the device is 6.4 inches, its resolution is equal to 800 x 480 pixels. You can make calls, receive and send messages, use the navigation, maps, browser, music and so on.
Apart from bundles with a smartphone, the Sony XAV-AX100 will be able to display information about the temperature outside and inside the car, you will be able to manage with climate control, heated seats. The screen displays the image from the rear camera, the information on the tyre pressure, the distance to obstacles that read Parking sensors, and so on.
The system is equipped with four amplifiers Dynamic Reality Amp 2 power handling capacity of 55 watts, as well as proprietary technologies Extra Bass that provides high-quality sound in a low frequency range.
Sony XAV-AX100 will be released in November at a price of $ 500.
