In the network appeared some information about the microarchitecture of x86-compatible Intel processors with reduced power consumption, known under the code name Gemini Lake. It will replace Apollo Lake.

Previously it was thought that Intel Gemini Lake will not receive major improvements compared to Apollo Lake. According to new information, they get the decoder commands of increased width.

Compared to the decoder of the processors on the architecture Goldmont Apollo Lake width is increased by one third, and compared to the Braswell — twice.
