The company E Ink demonstrated at SID Display Week 2017 the world’s largest electrophoretic display
The company E Ink brought in the final today the exhibition SID Display Week 2017 the world’s largest electrophoretic display and other interesting exhibits.
The mentioned display size is 42 inches diagonally. The display, created in cooperation with Global Display Solutions (GDS) used in the device QuirkLogic Quilla, which is a interactive whiteboard.
In addition, the company E Ink demonstrated a mosaic of 20-inch color display, characterized by expanded color gamut, new materials and technology for electrophoretic displays, as well as e-books, and wearable devices, including Withings and Go Sony FES.
Of course, the company E Ink, spoke about the design, made jointly with Japan Display, which allows to increase the density of the electrophoretic screen up to 600 dpi. Examples of panels included in the exhibit is E Ink.
