The brand value of Samsung has doubled over the past five years

According to the Investor, Samsung Electronics continues to hold the title of most expensive Korean brand. Over the past five years, the brand value of Samsung has almost doubled and now stands at 51.4 billion dollars.


According to British research company Brand Finance, in 2012, the brand value of Samsung Electronics amounted to 28.5 billion dollars. This year, the brand rose by 12%. The company successfully recovered from the shock,
caused by review Galaxy Note7 and billions of dollars of losses.



The second place is kept by Hyundai Motor Group with a score of 8.7 billion dollars. Third place goes to mobile operator SK Telecom (5.2 billion dollars), followed by with a small margin is another operator KT (5,09 billion dollars).


The brand value of LG Electronics is estimated at $ 5 billion.
