The BOE could become another supplier of OLED displays for the iPhone next year
According to the publication Bloomberg, Apple is discussing with China’s BOE Technology Group the possibility of starting the supply of OLED displays for smartphones iPhone in the near future.
An anonymous source reports that Apple is testing samples of OLED display production BOE in recent months. Recently, the BOE announced plans to invest around 14.5 billion dollars in the two factories for the production of AMOLED panels.
Know exactly what products BOE will not be used in the iPhone that will be released this year, but from next year the BOE may be another supplier. Earlier it was reported that the displays for the new smartphones will be supplying Samsung, LG, Sharp and Japan Display, which still can not cope with the demand. This year the exclusive supplier must be Samsung.
