The Americans made more than 20% of holiday shopping with mobile devices

Fresh data released by ComScore, indicate that Americans spent on purchases in November and December last year more than 80 billion dollars, 17% more than in the same period in 2015.


The volume of transactions with desktop PCs rose 12 percent to 63 billion dollars. But mobile devices have strengthened its positions significantly more noticeable. If in 2015 the Americans have confirmed with a mobile device purchase in the amount of at least $ 12 billion, in 2016 the amount increased by 44% and amounted to more than $ 17 billion.



It turns out that 21% of all purchases made by Americans during holiday period were made from smartphones and tablets. In 2015, the corresponding proportion was 17%. This proves that mobile devices are becoming more convenient for these purposes.
