Tessera Technologies is accusing Samsung of violating patents
South Korean company Samsung again invited to court as a defendant in the case of patent infringement. This time the plaintiff was made by the American company Tessera Technologies.
In the filed lawsuit States that Samsung Electronics had violated the 24 patents that describe different technologies of the semiconductor industry and referred to such smartphones as Samsung Galaxy S6, S7, S8 and Note8.
Tessera Technologies’s lawyers note that Samsung really got a license to use the patents Tessera in 1997, but it expired in December of last year. Since Samsung uses the technology of Tessera illegally without paying royalties to the owner of the patents.
Tessera Technologies has filed the appropriate documents to the international trade Commission of the United States, three Federal district courts and the US «in various international institutions».
