Table AMD (Summit Ridge) will appear on the market in the first quarter of 2017 under the brand Ryzen
In 2017, the company AMD plans to release processors on the new architecture designed for three segments. In the desktop segment, it will be processors under the conditional name Summit Ridge, to the server — the processors Naples, in the segment of mobile processors — Raven Ridge.
The Summit Ridge processors with eight cores can run simultaneously up to sixteen threads. Their clock frequency will exceed 3.4 GHz, volume cache of the second and third levels will be 20 MB (4 MB L2 and 16 MB L3).
The processors are part of AMD AM4. Its key features manufacturer considers support DDR4, PCIe Gen 3, USB 3.1 Gen 2, SATA and NMVe by exprss.
An important innovation is the technology SenseMI. Under this name combined the mechanisms for precise control of frequency (increments of 25 MHz) and power consumption, intelligent prefetch and predictions based on integrated neural networks.
Processors, still known as Summit Ridge, will hit the market in the first quarter under the brand Ryzen.
