SSDs Adata Ultimate SU800 uses flash memory Micron 3D NAND TLC

The range of solid-state drives Adata has added a line of Ultimate SU800 is the first Adata SSD, which uses flash memory with a volume layout. Specifically, in this case, the memory 3D TLC NAND production Micron. According to the manufacturer, SSD new series of devices belong to the medium level, but provide the speed of more, than counterparts with conventional NAND (so-called 2D).

The line includes four models with volume of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. All of them are made in metal housings size 2.5 inches and is designed for connection to SATA interface.

In the Ultimate SU800 uses a four-channel Silicon Motion controller SM2258 connected to the buffer memory of the SLC. According to the manufacturer, the drives show a maximum read speed at 560 MB/s write — at 520 MB/s.

New Adata solid state drives will go on sale in Europe in mid-September. The cost model, the 128GB will be 50 Euro model 256GB — € 78 models with up to 512 GB — € 135. About the timing of the sales and the cost model 1TB data yet.
