Specialists DXOMark have not noticed much progress in the camera of the Samsung Galaxy S8 in comparison with the predecessor

Yesterday a well-known resource DXOMark evaluates cameras in smartphones (and not only), tested the new Samsung Galaxy S8.

Looking ahead, the device received 88 points out of a possible 100. This is exactly the same as at the time earned Galaxy S7 Edge. In fact, the Galaxy S8 is set to the same image sensor, and only the differences in software processing, so nothing surprising. At the end, it’s still one of the best cameras in smartphones on the market.

If we talk about the picture quality, the source noted a very high speed and accurate focus in any lighting conditions, good colour reproduction in low light, good exposure, detail in shadows and low noise with an active outbreak. But noted and a slight loss of detail in regions with low contrast, variations in sharpness and some other nuances.

As for shooting video, the main claims of the authors of the test was to noise in low light, as well as some defects in the pan.
