Speaker system Wharfedale Diamond A1 and A2 acquired foreign wireless controller

The Wharfedale company presented acoustic system series Diamond is Active, preserving the classic shelving and floor construction, but keeping up with the times in all that concerns the connections to the sound sources.

Within each column of this series integrated amplifier 50 W, and the signal from the source is received by the wireless channel. But Bluetooth aptX module is not built into the speakers themselves and is a separate small block controller Wharfedale H1: it is connected to the source, and then transmits the signal to the speakers via radio 5.8 GHz. This design allows you to get rid of the power and signal cables between the columns and post them to a distance of 20 m from the block. The unit has volume controls and source selection, so that may partially replace the complete remote control.

Of wired connections supports optical and coaxial S/PDIF and two RCA. Both models have a dome tweeter diameter 25 mm WOOFER speaker bookshelf Diamond at A1 less than the outdoor Diamond A2 — 130 mm vs. 165 mm, and in the latter case, the bass speakers work in tandem. The multilayer structure of the emitters reduces peaks in frequency response in the audible range, the design of the crossover has been revised specially for this series.
