SpaceX has named the preliminary cause of the recent explosion of the Falcon 9 rocket
As you know, September 1 at Cape Canaveral during the passage of prelaunch exploded the Falcon 9 rocket. No one was hurt.
Yesterday, SpaceX released preliminary results of the investigation of the incident. It is reported that the cause of the explosion most likely was the helium cryogenic system. However, the company can not yet say why this unit was formed anomaly. It is not clear whether experts SpaceX, FAA, NASA and U. S. Air Force, and that’s the number of agencies involved in the investigation to find the root cause of the accident.
Meanwhile, SpaceX also reported that the area adjacent to the launch pad objects is either not affected at all, or damage is negligible.
