Sony is credited with the intention to release a flagship smartphone with single-chip system of its own design
A couple of days ago we reported about a possible appearance at the IFA exhibition in 2017 smartphone Sony display Full Active.
New data indicate that at the same event, Sony announced a flagship smartphone that will be based on single-chip system of its own design company.
A source says the two flagship smartphones, which will be shown at IFA, and one of the new SoC. Perhaps this is the same smartphone that will receive the Full Active display.
Rumors that Sony is interested in creating their own SoC’s appeared in 2015, but then the head of the company denied this. In any case, the information provided should be treated with considerable skepticism, as the mobile division of Sony is now experiencing not the best times and access native platform is unlikely to be able to change something.
