Sony announced the price and date of commencement of sales of 4K TV Ultra HD HDR new generation

Sony Electronics announced the price and launch date of TVs 4K Ultra HD HDR new generation. The lineup includes series XBR-X800E, XBR-X850E, XBR-X900E and XBR-X930E/XBR-X940E. In the United States taking pre-orders for these TVs has already begun, and sales will begin in March.

New TVs support extended dynamic range (HDR, High Dynamic Range). Feature of the older models is the presence of image processor the Sony HDR 4K Processor X1 Extreme, allegedly, improves accuracy, increases contrast and image clarity. It supports HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision1. The manufacturer also notes the extended color gamut panel, TRILUMINOS and Motionflow technology that reduces motion artifacts. Software platform TV is an Android TV with a personal Google assistant Assistant.

Screen size is approximately equal to the first two digits in the model name. Model XBR-75X940E costs $7500, XBR-65X930E — $4000, XBR-55X930E — $3300, XBR-75X900E — $6000, XBR-65X900E — $3300, XBR-55X900E — $2400, XBR-49X900E — $1700, XBR-75X850E — $5000, XBR-65X850E — $2500, XBR-55X800E — $1900, XBR-49X800E — $1100.
