Snapdragon SoC 836 can go next year

This week there was a rumor that single-chip system Snapdragon 836 simply does not exist. Supposedly the manufacturer does not see sense to release a slightly overclocked version of Snapdragon 835, capacity which is enough for any task.

However, the known insider Evan Bless (Evan Blass) has posted on his page on the social network Twitter somewhat different information according to which Snapdragon 836 is in development, but its release was postponed to next year. Maybe by the time the manufacturer will change the name of this mobile platform, selecting a different model number. The source, which refers to Bless, had always provided reliable information, so you can trust him.

It is for this reason Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 that should be in October, and will be equipped with Snapdragon 835.
