Snapdragon SoC 835 will operate at frequencies up to 3 GHz and support displays with resolution up to 4K

The same source posted in Weibo new details about the flagship SoC Snapdragon 835, confirmed previously appeared information about the fact that 10-nanometer SoC will receive eight processor cores and GPU Adreno Kryo 540.
Now we also know that the first processor cluster will work at frequencies up to 3 GHz, and the second to 2.4 GHz. In addition, the Snapdragon 835 will support displays with up to 4K resolutions, dual camera, Quad-channel RAM LPDDR4x flash memory UFS 2.1. This SoC will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 LTE, which supports LTE Cat 16 (data transfer rate up to 1 Gbit/s).
Snapdragon 660, which will be made according to the norms of 14 nm, will receive four Cortex A73 and four Cortex A53, which will work at frequencies up to 2.2 and 1.9 GHz, respectively. As the GPU will be the Adreno 512, SoC will support displays with resolution up to 2K and LTE Cat 10.
The appearance of Snapdragon 835 market is expected in the second quarter of 2017, Snapdragon 660 will be released in the third quarter.
