SilverStone VT01 – metal case for mini-PC-based motherboards size Mini-STX

At the June Computex 2016, several companies introduced a new motherboard format Mini-STX, and manufacturers of buildings have taken the initiative. Among the latter, and SilverStone, in the range which now has a compact case VT01.

The novelty is made of steel with a thickness of 0.8 mm and weighs 582 grams. The case allows you to set only one inside the motherboard size Mini-STX – Mini-ITX has not come. Inside, in addition the system Board can accommodate one SSD or HDD size 2.5 inches, but the height of the CPU is limited meager in comparison with conventional hulls Midi-Tower, with a value of 34 mm. SilverStone VT01 has two USB ports on the front panel (Type-A and Type-C) as well as two standard nests with a diameter of 3.5 mm for connecting headphones and microphone.

Dimensions – 155 x 152 x 65 mm, volume of 1.53 liters. If necessary, assembled in SilverStone VT01 computer can be mounted on the rear panel of the monitor using the VESA mounts, which is included in the package.

Novelty sales in Europe start at the end of October. The estimated cost of housing – $35.
