Sigma warned causes a problem of incomplete compatibility of five types of lenses with Canon EOS cameras

On the website of the company Sigma published a notice of incomplete compatibility of five types of lenses with Canon EOS cameras. The consequence of incomplete compatibility is a bug in Live View if the camera is enabled correction of lens distortion.

A list of cameras that appears, the error includes model Canon EOS 6D Mark II, Canon EOS 77D, Canon EOS Rebel T7i (EOS 800D) and SL2 the Canon Rebel (EOS 200D).

A list of lenses that cause the error includes model Sigma 30mm F1.4 DC HSM | Art, Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art, Sigma 30mm F1.4 EX DC HSM, Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM and Sigma 85mm F1.4 EX DG HSM

As a solution to the problem of the lenses the manufacturer recommends to turn off in camera settings the correction of lens distortion.
