Samsung will open a showroom in a futuristic London shopping centre
According to the source, Samsung intends to open a large demonstration centre in London’s King’s Cross.
At the moment the company is completing a deal to hire nearly 2,000 m2 on the top floor of the shopping center Coal Drops Yard, which is in the final stages of construction and will open next year.
Samsung showroom will be located under the futuristic roof of the building, the architect of which was Thomas Hetherwick (Thomas Heatherwick). The source compares the size of the future center Samsung with the Apple store on Regent street.
In General, the concept of the new object will be similar to the Samsung showroom 837, located in new York. There, visitors can not only get acquainted with novelties of the Korean giant, but also a restaurant, an audiovisual Studio, an art gallery and even a mini theater. But to buy anything it is impossible, so, probably, new object will not be a Samsung store.
