Samsung will help medicine of Mexico, to strengthen its position in the region
Today it became known that Samsung Electronics has signed an agreement with the Foundation, Carlos slim (Carlos Slim Foundation), and expressed readiness to take part in the modernization of the health system of Mexico.
In particular, in the framework of the signed agreement, the South Korean giant will provide 1000 tablets equipped with NFC modules that will be used for digitization of record of the vaccinations at medical institutions in the country.
The Foundation of Carlos slim owns the Mexican mobile operator Telcel, which owns 70% of the local market. Such generosity on the part of Samsung due to the company’s desire to improve the position of its smartphone units in the country.
Founded over 30 years ago, the Foundation of Carlos slim is one of the largest in Latin America, funds that are dedicated to education and medicine.
