Samsung Electronics plans to expand production of semiconductor products according to the norms of 10 nm, and construction of new capacities, calculated on the norms of 7 nm. For this purpose, starting next month, will be allocated to 6.98 billion dollars.
Equipment for the new 10-nanometer lines have already been ordered. It is expected to be installed and commissioned in the second quarter. On the existing 10-nanometer production, Samsung produces, in particular, its own single-chip system Exynos 9 Series (8895) and SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.
