Samsung is the leader in the smartphone market of India, but the Chinese producers increased the supply by 75%
According to different agencies, or India is already the second largest smartphone market after China, or will become so in the next year, eventually pushing the US into third place. Therefore, in particular, so eager to Apple.
A new report on the Indian market from IDC indicates that in the second quarter of this year it showed an increase of 17%. Second place went to Micromax with 12.9% of the market, which is the most confident feeling with the average price range of $150-200 with models like Canvas 6 and Yu Yunicorn.
Third, fourth and fifth places were taken by Lenovo, Intex and Reliance Jio, who went respectively by 7.7% and 7.1% and 6.8% of the Indian smartphone market.
Previously, Lenovo was the only Chinese company that has shipped more than a million smartphone in the quarter. But this quarter, Chinese manufacturers have increased the supply by 75%, and club «millionaire» also moved up three more companies, probably, Vivo, Xiaomi and Oppo.
