In early February, in the database of the test package GeekBench results emerged from testing of the unknown mobile device, which establishes a new SOC Snapdrаgon 835. The smartphone was equipped with 4 GB of RAM and running the Android operating system 7.1.1.

Now GeekBench was spotted smartphone with model number SM-G955U, under which hides the Samsung Galaxy S8+. This model has received SoC MSM8998 (Snapdrаgon 835), 4 GB of RAM and Android OS 7.0.

Perhaps because of different versions of the operating system of Samsung Galaxy S8+ scored in GeekBench similar but slightly worse results than the aforementioned smartphone, which could be the same device.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ must submit on March 29. It is expected that, in addition to versions with Snapdrаgon 835, the market also presents options with SoC Exynos 8895.
