Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could be the first smartphone based on SoC Snapdragon 836

Despite the failure of the smartphone Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is not abandoning large flagship: Galaxy Note 8 has been prepared, and its official premiere is expected at the IFA exhibition in 2017 (or close to it).

This model is already a lot of rumors, and one of the latest: according to Chinese source Galaxy Note 8 may be the first smartphone based on the new flagship single-chip platform Qualcomm Snapdragon 836. However, no significant differences from Snapdragon 835 not promised: again, the situation with the platforms Snapdragon 820 and 821. Rumors attribute a Central processor Snapdragon 835 higher (50 MHz) clock frequency. Also expected to increase the GPU frequency — it will reach 740 MHz.

According to the source, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 may be the first but not the only model on SoC Snapdragon 836. This platform can be applied in a number of innovations of the second half. For example, LG V30 and Google Pixel 2.
