A new plant under the name of A5 will consist of two main buildings, which will be located in the cities of Cheonan and Asan in the province of chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. The plant will produce up to 270 thousand OLED display sixth generation in a month, about 30% more than produces the largest at the moment the factory Samsung A3.
Sources believe that the volume of investments into construction will make about 1.75 billion dollars. If the process starts this year, the plant can start production in 2019.
Factory A5, in particular, will produce curved displays OLED 9-10 diagonal inches for the still unannounced device.
